Status was founded in 2020, based in Southampton, UK. We have had a successful first few years in operation specialising in bespoke and professional boat maintenance and management services for our growing database of loyal customers.
Using our knowledge and experience in brokerage sales, the business has now advanced into marine sales. Status Marine is now a developing and successful brokerage for RIB sales.
Meet Chris, the owner of Status Marine.
Chris has 15 years of marine experience varying from maintenance work in Australia to luxury super yachts in the Mediterranean. Chris settled back in the UK 6 years ago where he spent a number of years working as a yacht broker on the Hamble, he gained extensive experience and eye-opening knowledge to what it takes to offer first class customer experience in selling and buying vessels.
He developed Status Marine 3 years ago and has worked hard to strive to offer the best in Vessel maintenance. Ultimately, he has missed the selling side of the industry as well as wanting to put his brokerage skills back into good use. This is where the RIB brokerage side of the business is developing from.
Chris is a RIB owner himself; he is at his happiest when he is out cruising the Solent or enjoying the river Hamble with his young family. He knows the full extent of what the buying, selling, or maintaining of a boat journey means to an owner. You can trust him to take the stress out of these processes for you so that you can just sit back and enjoy your time on the water.
